Perrine Madoeuf – soprano
Born in Lyon, Perrine joined the Maîtrise of the Opera de Lyon at the age of 9. She was given the role of Gretel in “Hansel and Gretel” by Humperdingt and sang under Kent Nagano.
In 2002, she graduated from the Conservatoire National de Lyon and continued her studies at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Lyon. She then completed her training at the Opera Studio of the Flanders Opera during the 2004-2005 season.
She won the first prize in the International Competition in Barcelona in 2008.
She has been selected to sing in the world famous OPERALIA singing competition from Placido Domingo in Verona, in August 2013 and won the audienze price in Mâcon International Competition in 2013 and in 2014 won the 1st price in Marseille Operetta Competition and 2d price in «Forum Lyrique d’Arles».
She has performed oratorios such as Haydns “Creation”, “Sainte Cecile Mass” and “Gallia” by Gounod, Mozart “Requiem”, Poulenc “Gloria” and Rossini “Petite Messe Solennelle”. On the opera stage, Perrine has sung roles such as Despina (Cosi fan tutte) Lyon; Abra (Judith triumphans, Vivaldi) Opéra de Montpellier; Gabrielle (La vie Parisienne, Offenbach); Cupid et Philadell (King Arthur, Purcell) Festival Interval’ d’automne; Zénobie (Ciboulette, Hahn) Lyon; Violetta (La Traviata) Lyon; Micaela (Carmen) Festival Ninon Valin; Manon (Massenet) Bad Homburg; Marguerite (Faust) Unesco, Paris; Gilda (Rigoletto) Fichtelberg and Chateau de Buc, and in such creations as Anna in “Sorelle bronte” by Chenna staged by Davide Livermore Venice Biennale.
From 2010 to 2013, she has toured with “My Life with Mozart” by Eric Emmanuel Schmitt, embodying the Mozartian soprano with the Orchestre Symphonique Lyonnais. She is also toured Maria in “West Side Story”, all over France, China and Canada.
