Peter Jablonski is an award-winning, internationally acclaimed Swedish pianist, described by Gramophone as “a pianist in full flower of his mature, imaginative artistry.”

He is among the leading pianists of his generation. Over the past three decades, he has performed on international stages with more than 150 orchestras, given over 2000 concerts, and completed more than 30 tours of Japan. Highlights of 24/25 season include recitals at Wigmore Hall, Seoul Arts Centre, concerts with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and winning the prestigious Swedish Grammy 2025 for this critically acclaimed release of piano works by a Scottish composer Ronald Stevenson.

His repertoire includes the complete piano concertos by Beethoven, Bacewicz, and Bartók. Over the course of his career, he has developed a rich and diverse repertoire, including works by Barber, Gershwin, Szymanowski, Lutosławski, Copland, and Stenhammar, with recent additions of composers such as Valborg Aulin, Elfrida Andrée, Ronald Stevenson, and Grażyna Bacewicz.

Jablonski’s extensive discography includes recordings for Decca, Deutsche Grammophon, Philips, Altara, Octavia, and Ondine. Among numerous accolades, he received the Edison Award for Best Concerto Recording.

He was also presented with the Gramophone Classical Music Award for his Deutsche Grammophon recording of works by Cécile Chaminade with Anne Sofie von Otter and Bengt Forsberg.

Peter Jablonski is a recipient of the Litteris et Artibus medal, awarded by King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden for his services to culture. He is also a laureate of the prestigious Årets Svensk i Världen (International Swedish Personality of the Year). In May 2022, he was elected to the Royal Swedish Academy of Music.

In 2022, Jablonski became a global ambassador for Karol Szymanowski, in a multi-year international project that includes performances and recordings of the composer’s works throughout Europe and the world, along with a series of short films about his life and music.

In December 2022, he was awarded the Charles Cros Academy Award (Contemporary Music category) in France for his recording of piano music by Grażyna Bacewicz.
