Petro Shvaykovskyy – tenor

General information

Petro Shvaykovskyy is a graduate of the Mykola Lysenko Lviv Academy of Music in the class of choral conducting, he studied vocals with Professor Oleh Tsyhylyk. with whom he won prizes at international art competitions in Europe. After graduating from the academy he worked as an Artist in the State Men’s Choir L. Revutsky under the direction of Bohdan Antkiv in Kyiv, after returning he became the director of the Lviv Music School 6, as well as the director of the Lviv House of Chamber and Organ Music.

Participated in master classes of outstanding singers Kurt Vidmer (Bern, Switzerland), Christian Elsner (Dresden, Germany), Paul Esswood (UK) Alexander Vostryakov (Ukraine). Participant of many international festivals and competitions London (Great Britain), Zurich, Bern (Switzerland) Kosice, Trnava (Slovakia), Tours (France), Krakow, Wroclaw, Warsaw,  Gdansk (Poland) Debrecen (Hungary) Torrevieja (Spain), Munich, Leipzig, Frankfurt (Germany), participated in the Easter project “RESURECTION” in Canada and the United States, collaborated as a soloist with K & K Philarmoniker (Germany) and with INSO-Lviv with a project of 12 tenors in Poland , “Soloists of Lviv” under the direction of Zenoviy Demtsyukh, under the auspices of the Polish-Ukrainian Foundation named after I.
Paderevsky and the Lviv National Philharmonic took part in the opera "Manru" by J. Paderevsky in Chicago (USA).

As a choirmaster he conducted creative work in the Lviv men’s municipal choir “Homin”. He collaborates with the ensemble “Kalofonia” as well as with the choir “GLORIA” under the direction of Volodymyr Syvokhip.
