Rostyslav Fedyna – piano

Rostyslav Fedyna – graduated from the Lviv State Lyceum named after S. Krushelnytska (class of teacher  Marta Gavrushko). He continued his studies at the M.Lysenko Piano Academy

and post graduate school (professor Olena Pilatiuk’s class). 

Laureate of Ukrainian and international competitions, including: 

The main award “Golden Parnassus 2018” at the international piano forum “Beskydy without borders”,  Syanok 2018, 

prize for the best performance of Ukrainian music at the international competition-festival of modern  music, Paris 2018, 

1 prize for the competition named after Stankovich, Svalyava 2018 

1st prize at the competition-festival “Music without borders”, Druskininkai 2022. 

Performs solo concerts with programs of Ukrainian and European classics. In particular, he is currently  working on the project “Ukrainian piano sonata of the first third of the 20th century “, which includes the  performance of all piano sonatas by V. Barvinskyi, L. Revutskyi, V. Kosenko, and B. Lyatoshinskyi. Also in the  repertoire of the program are works by J. S. Bach, V. A. Mozart, L. Beethoven, F. Schubert, F. Chopin, R.  Schumann, F. Liszt, J. Brahms, O. Messian, Leo Ornstein. 

Participates in masterclasses of famous musicians, including Kevin Kenner, Andrzej Jasinski, Piotr Paleczny,  and many others.
