Professor, People’s Artist of Ukraine Bohdan Bazylykut

Stepan Drobit graduated from the Faculty of Culture and Arts of Lviv National Ivan Franko University (2009, class of People’s Artist of Ukraine B. Basylykut) and underwent training at the European Academy of Vocal Art (Bytom, Poland, 2013).

The repertoire of Stepan Drobit includes dozens of baritone parts: Scarpia (“Tosca” by G. Puccini); Giorgio Germont, Nabucco, Rodrigo, Conte di Luna (“La traviata”, “Nabucco”, “Don Carlos”, “Il Trovatore” by G. Verdi); Papageno, Antonio (“The Magic Flute”, “The Marriage of Figaro” by W. A. Mozart); Mykhailo Hurman (“Stolen Happiness” by Yu. Meitus); Hnat, Bohdan Khmelnytskyi (“Nazar Stodolia”, “Bohdan Khmelnytskyi” by K. Dankevych), Sultan (“Zaporozhets za Dunayem” by S. Gulak-Artemovskyi”), Friedrich Telramund (“Lohengrin” by R. Wagner), baritone part in “Carmina Burana” by C. Orff and others. He has had guest performances in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and Norway.

Currently he is a soloist and artistic director of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble “Cossacks of Podillya” of Khmelnytsky Regional State Philharmonic.
