Teruhisa Maruo, Piano

After graduating music course of Osaka Yuhigaoka Gakuen High School, he proceeded to Faculty of Music of Tokushim Bunri University where he accomplished the top grade among the graduates and he was award to perform at the graduation ceremony. He was selected to be a scholarship student of Internationale Sommer Akademie 2012 in Wien where he studied under Avo Kouyoumdjian and Peter Nagy. He later studied under Van Zabner Antoinette as a guest student of University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.

So far he studied under Junko Kasahara, Minako Kasahara, Giuseppe Mariotti, Peter Efler, Christopher Hinterhuber, Sundou Yokoi, and Yoshiko Matsumoto. He also studied “Alexander Technique from Lucs Lorenzi.

He was awarded a lot like Excellence Prize at 10^th Takatsuki Piano Competition, Bronze medal at 5^th Tokushima Music Competition. Gold medal at 16^th Sakai Piano Competition, top pianist prize at Professor. Dichler Competition in Wein. In 2018 he became the Korrepetitor for Opera “The Gipsy Princess“sponserded by Okayama Reconstruction Project from Typhon disaster.

So far he played with Tokushima Symphony Orchestra, Tokushim Bunri University graduates orchestra, and Sereno Chamber Orchestra at The Symphony, Osaka in 2019。
