Vlad Solodovnikov – piano

General information

Vlad Solodovnikov is a member of the artistic council of the Eclectic Sound Orchestra, founder and director of the Bach Alive studio studio. He studied at the Poltava Music School at the Department of Music Theory, studied composition and instrumentation with Professor V. Muzhchyl at the Kharkiv Institute of Arts. IP Kotlyarevsky.

Works in the genre of neo-baroque, fusion-folk, academic electronic-acoustic music, spiritual music (early twentieth century), minimalism, anti-romanticism.

The influence of the styles of G. Sviridov, B. Lyatoshynsky, B. Bartok, and IS Bach can be traced in his work.

Vlad Solodovnikov writes works for various ensembles, including symphonic music, chamber and instrumental, vocal, choral. Author of 2 liturgies, 3 suites for orchestra and electronic instruments, folk tales in the field of jazz for mixed orchestra, anti-opera “Passions for the Mind” (“Passions of Reason”) (libretto and staging by the author).

Winner of the Ivan Karabyts International Composers ‘Competition (Kyiv) and the Levko Revutsky International Composers’ Competition for Young Composers (Chernihiv).

The concert program includes original and improvisational music (from the interpretation of jazz mainstream of the 30s of the XX century to modern original compositions in the style of folk, fusion, indie rock and jazz).
