Ukrainian-born, Australian conductor Vladimir Fanshil celebrates long-term relationships with orchestras on an international level where his precision and musicianship is equally praised.
Vladimir is currently the conductor in residence at the Polish National Radio orchestra In Katowice.
International highlights include the Orchestre National d’Ile de France at the Paris Philharmonie, Konzerthaus Orchestra Berlin, The Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, The NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic Poland, Opera Australia, Australian ballet and, both conducted and toured with the Budapest Festival Orchestra.
In 2019, Vladimir conducted a new production of Pulcinella and Apollon Musagète at the Rijeka State Opera and Ballet Theatre, Croatia as well as large-scale works choral and orchestral works in Romania.
Vladimir was born in Odessa to a musical family before immigrating to Australia at age 5 where he studied violin, piano and poetry with acclaimed poet Yuri Mikhalik.
