“Lviv Virtuosos” at the festival “Muzyka w Starym Krakowie”
On August 25, the Academic Chamber Orchestra “Lviv Virtuosos” performed at the XLIX International Festival “Muzyka w Starym Krakowie”. Under the leadership of the artistic director of the orchestra, Serhii Burko, the works of Myroslav Skoryk, endowed with unique melodism, were performed. The famous Ukrainian singer, soprano Sofia Solovii, performed the solo.
The festivals “Muzyka w Starym Krakowie” and “Music in Old Lviv”, which is currently taking place at the Philharmonic, are partners. The idea of cooperation between the festivals belongs to the founder of the Academic Chamber Orchestra “Lviv Virtuosos” Serhii Burko, the founder and director of the Krakow Festival – Stanislav Galonskyi and the Ukrainian conductor, professor Yurii Lutsiv.
