Summer of “Virtuosos” begins with the concert with the participation of chamber orchestra “Lviv Virtuosos” and guests from Poland. Who will visit Lviv? Jatsek Rogala – a famous Polish conductor, director of Philarmonia in Kielce, a pianist Marian Sobulia who got to know the orchestra “Lviv Virtuosos” in Geneva during the Chopin Festival.
Program will be vivid: symphony for Felix Mendelssohn’s strings created when composer was under 15 years old. Piano concert of Chopin belongs to his several works, where orchestra is involved in. Karmen-suite by Rodion Shchedrin, based on opera by Georges Bizet, devoted to a wife of Shchedrin – famous ballerina Maya Plisetskaya, will increase festive mood. The concert will take place under the patronage of general consuls – Ukraine consul in Krakow Oleh Mandyuk and consul from Poland in Lviv – Rafal Volskiy.
