Chasing after Mozart

W.A.Mozart is known for his sunny and cheerful music, as well as for his personal antics and comical episodes happening throughout his life. When Mozart was composing for the french horn (his favourite instrument, which traces its roots from the hunter's horn), he did it exclusively in major tonalities.
Konstantin Timokhine, the concertmaster of the horn group of the Basel Chamber Orchestra, will play highly virtuoso works by various authors/composers requiring extraordinary skills. The event will be an amazing musical journey through bright compositions for French horn and its variations written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his father Leopold, including amusing anecdotes from the life of the composer of genius.
