Program

Are you ready to submit to double bass obsession as passionately as Nazarii Stets?

Conqueror of the most powerful and at the same time the most underrated string instrument, musician and teacher, focused on contemporary music and popularization of the new Ukrainian scene. At the concert on February 27, he will perform in a duet with pianist Tetiana Homon, who is also the keeper of Borys Liatoshynskyi’s musical heritage. This is no coincidence because the music of the greatest Ukrainian genius of the 20th century will be the header for this performance.

But other interesting things will be heard in the duet’s original interpretation: these are the works of Yurii Ishchenko, Zoltan Almashi, Oleksii Voitenko.

Also, meet the solo composition of Nazarii Stets himself, this is where the true double bass obsession will reach you. You’re cordially invited!

“Ukraine. Muses Are Not Silent” is a concert series in support of Ukrainian musicians during the russian armed aggression. Online concerts will become a platform for the uniting of the Ukrainian music community, as many musicians participating in these concert programs have become internally displaced people and have found shelter in Lviv.

We provide a free opportunity for the whole world to watch concerts on the official YouTube channel of the Lviv National Philharmonic. At the same time, we suggest our listeners from abroad make charitable donations to Ukrainian musicians who have stayed here in Ukraine.
