On Saturday, April 2, as part of the series “Ukraine–2022. The Muses Are Not Silent” will be presented by harpsichordist Olga Shadrina-Lychak. The musician’s performance, with the participation of harpsichordist Hanna Ivaniushenko, will feature works by leading European masters of the 18th century: J. S. Bach, J.–F. Rameau, D. Bortniansky, V. A. Mozart.

Olga Shadrina-Lychak told about her participation in the project:

“Music, performing and listening to it are becoming an effective tool today, which makes possible to reflect the harsh objective reality. To embody and express a crazy palette of emotions that are raging in the Ukrainian space and overwhelm each of us. Do not despair, lose hope and hate. In the end, find inner courage and direct your forces to where you can be most effective in winning and strengthening Ukrainian self-identity”.

Program:

  • Jean-Philippe Rameau. Allemande, Sarabande, Les Trois Mains, Fanfarinette from Suite in A minor

“Ukraine–2022. Muses Are Not Silent” is a series of digital chamber concerts organized by Myroslav Skoryk Lviv National Philharmonic in support of Ukrainian musicians during the russian armed aggression. Online concerts will become a platform for the uniting of the Ukrainian music community, as many musicians participating in these concert programs have become internally displaced people and have found shelter in Lviv.

We provide a free opportunity for the whole world to watch concerts on the official YouTube channel of the Lviv National Philharmonic. At the same time, we suggest our listeners from abroad make charitable donations to Ukrainian musicians who have stayed here in Ukraine.
