Looking back over 30 years, we can’t help but see the shimmering threads of fate that have carefully connected our present and future. Thus, in 1995, the festival commissioned the first duo program from Lviv pianists Oksana Rapita and Myroslav Dragan, who are regular participants of the festival and for whom Ukrainian composers have written and are writing. It is to this program that the performers will return this evening, as the theme of this year’s performance will be the sense of time: it is flying and freezing, the way it multiplies and accelerates, and how it dissolves into moments of beauty and pleasure.
