“Ode to Resilience” is a unique cultural and charitable initiative that merges artistic expression with military experience. This concert series will feature symphonic works by contemporary composers, inspired by the ongoing war in Ukraine. These pieces will be conducted by Serhii Lykhomanenko, who, for the third year, has been stationed in Donetsk Oblast, defending Ukraine as an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This project is not only a tribute to the unbreakable Ukrainian spirit but also an effort to unite the international community through the power of music.
Under the baton of a conductor who has personally endured the harsh realities of war, each note will carry a profound emotional weight—echoing struggle, faith, and hope. Alongside world premieres, the program will also include new symphonic adaptations of Ukrainian classical masterpieces.
With the participation of leading Ukrainian orchestras and international artists, Ode to Resilience carries powerful symbolic significance, emphasizing solidarity in the fight for freedom and independence.
This initiative is more than just music. It is a bridge between those on the frontlines and those who support them from afar—a harmony of sound that reflects the living history of Ukraine.
