Masterclass by Sophie Heinrich (violin)

On June 28, 2026, a master class will be held by Sophie Heinrich, an Austrian violinist, concertmaster of the Komische Oper Berlin and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, where she became the first female concertmaster in the orchestra’s history.

Sophie Heinrich actively performs as a soloist, chamber musician and guest concertmaster of leading European orchestras. She is also engaged in pedagogical activities, is a mentor of the LEAD Project under the direction of Jukka-Pekka Saraste and collaborates with the Grafenegg Festival.

The master class will be an opportunity for young musicians to receive individual professional feedback, deepen their performance skills, work on interpretation, sound and musical thinking together with a musician of international level.
