The audition is due to take place on October 7^th, 2019, beginning at 10:00 at the Chamber hall of the Lviv National Philharmonic Society (address: Lviv, 79000, 7 Tchaikovsky St.).

Eligibility criteria:

Candidates to the Higher Category vacancy must have a completed full higher education with the relevant qualification (Master, Specialist Degree) and qualification upgrading certificate.

At least 3 years of professional experience as a symphony orchestra musician in the 1^st Category.

Candidates to 1^st Category vacancy must have a completed full or basic higher education with the relevant qualification (Master, Specialist or Bachelor Degree) and qualification upgrading certificate. Master Degree holders are considered eligible without a professional experience; Specialist Degree holders must have at least 2 years of professional experience as a symphony orchestra musician in the 2^nd Category.

Candidates to the 2^nd Category vacancy must have a completed full or basic higher education with the relevant qualification (Specialist, Bachelor or Junior Specialist Degree) with no requirements of professional experience.

1. Application form (in a free format)

2. Filled out personal profile (printed form provided by the Secretariat) and one photo

3. Authorized copy of an ID/ passport

4. Authorized copy of an employment record book (if available)

5. Authorized copy of Diploma with relevant qualification

Applications must be submitted till October 1, 2019 (inclusive) to the Secretariat of the Lviv National Philharmonic Society (address: 79000, Lviv, 7 Tchaikovsky St.)

Applicants cover their travel and accommodation expenses on their own.

CELLO

J. Haydn – Concerto in D–Dur or 1^st Mvmt. of a classical Concerto and a Romantic piece of an applicant choice.

DOUBLE BASS

C.D. von Dittersdorf – Concerto in E–Dur, 1^st and 2^nd Mvmts. or 1^st Mvmt. of a classical Concerto and a Romantic piece of an applicant choice.

Additionally, all audition candidates will perform orchestral excerpts and sight-reading. Orchestral excerpts are available to download:

All candidates willing to play audition to the orchestra reserve (participation in certain concerts) can submit their applications on a regular basis. The obligatory programme is a Classical Concerto 1^st Mvmt. with cadenza.
