Liudmyla Monastyrska – one of the most powerful soloists of the world opera stage and the prima of the National Opera of Ukraine, the owner of a lyric-dramatic soprano, unique in its beauty and timbre. Today foreign critics call the singer a new star of the vocal world, calling her the “Queen of nuance” and “Queen of pianissimo”, as well as the successor to the traditions of Solomiya Krushelnitska, Maria Callas, and Montserrat Caballé, predicting her brilliant future as confirmed by numerous contracts with the most prestigious theaters in the world, including La Scala, the Royal Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera, the Vienna State Opera, and others. According to the casting director of the Metropolitan Opera, Liudmyla Monastyrska is the best Aida over the past 50 years. And in 2015, the singer was nominated for The International Opera Awards.
