Identity

It would seem that there are so many important things in life without which it is not complete. But the war proved that the stability of our lives is temporary, that everything expensive is worth much less, that at one moment your life can fit into a backpack or a suitcase, and that your home is really where you are.

At a critical moment, everything material became secondary. Our values, feelings, and actions became decisive. And identity is one of the anchors we cling to in such moments. Once we define ourselves, we determine our place in this world forever. Just like Antonín Dvořák, who carried his love for his native Czech Republic through many years of life and work. Or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who, despite his many ups and downs, never changed himself.

Identity, originality and courage to be who you define yourself will be the main themes of the INSO-Lviv Symphony Orchestra’s concert on March 2. The Lviv audience will see Polish conductor Vincent Kozlowski at the conductor’s console. Today, during the bloody Russian-Ukrainian war, he will come to Lviv to demonstrate his identity, solidarity and support together with the INSO-Lviv orchestra and renowned pianist Roman Lopatynsky.
