Carl Orff’s legendary “Carmina Burana” on the stage of the Lviv Philharmonic – this event is impossible to miss!

Philosophy and mysticism, simplicity and luxury, earthly and spiritual combined in a large-scale stage cantata that brought its author world fame. The central symbol of the work is the Wheel of Fortune, which personifies cyclicality and infinity at the same time. Human nature strives for joy and pleasure, but carefreeness always alternates with drama and misfortune, and wealth and luck never last forever. Orff’s bright and highly emotional music leaves no listener indifferent: its motifs are etched in memory for a long time, and its powerful energy forever leaves its mark on the heart.
