A large-scale collaboration between two orchestras – the Lviv Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and the Lublin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra – will take place on 23 June. Vladyslava Luchenko, the violinist, will be the soloist.
The chief conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of the Lviv Philharmonic Theodore Kuchar said:
“Mahler’s First Symphony, Sibelius’s Violin Concerto – we will present an outstanding programme of classical music icons. There will also be a world premiere of a suite from the folk opera “Fern Blossoms” by Yevhen Stankovych, a composition with a contemporary language written at the highest international level.”
