In these days of February, Ukraine once again honors the cherished memory of the Heavenly Hundred, the heroes who, through their self-sacrifice, defended the nation’s right to freedom and changed the course of our country’s history. The tragic events of a decade ago are forever etched in our minds and have influenced the present. But other dates, such as February 2022, the beginning of the full-scale invasion, have also played a bloody role in the eternal confrontation between Ukraine and its occupier Russia.
The Lviv National Philharmonic expresses its condolences to all the relatives of the heroes who died for the common national idea. We thank all the defenders who continue to defend the borders of statehood and allow us here, in peaceful cities, to continue the mission of preserving the culture and soil of Ukrainians.
