The first concert took place at the famous Bechstein Center (Düsseldorf). “It was a fantastic evening with many Ukrainian works that sound both dreamy and virtuoso, dance-like,” noted the festival’s artistic director, renowned pianist and soloist of the Lviv National Philharmonic, Violina Petrychenko. Pianist Yevgenia Yermachkova and clarinetist Andrii Paliarush performed. Among the works on the program were “Poem” by Levko Kolodub, a poetic narrative that explores the depths of the human soul. The audience also heard “Melody” by Borys Liatoshynskyi, a composition that moves with emotional fullness. “Dreams” by Rostyslav Demchyshyn is a musical vision that transforms dreams and aspirations into sounds. The next work is “Grand Duo” by Carl Maria von Weber, which combines technical mastery with melodic elegance. At the end, “Carpathian Rhapsody” by Myroslav Skoryk was performed, which absorbed the beauty of the Carpathians and captivates with its energy.
