More than 100 musicians, a full house of music lovers in the hall – on June 23 and 24, the musical synergy of two collectives happened through the sounding of three incredible works.
The Lviv Philharmonic National Symphony Orchestra and the Symphonic Orchestra of the Lublin Philharmonic performed together on the stages of Polish Lublin and Pulyava under the direction of principal conductor Theodore Kuchar. The soloist was Vladyslava Luchenko, a violinist. With a performance on June 23, the musicians completed the concert season of the Lublin Philharmonic, which is a solemn event and an honourable invitation for the Lviv orchestra.
Gustav Mahler’s First Symphony, Jan Sibelius’s Violin Concerto – musicians led by Theodore Kuchar presented a truly special program of classical music masterpieces. The world premiere of the suite from the folk opera “Blooming Fern” by Yevhen Stankovych was also held.
