On February 2, the Lviv Philharmonic hosted the “Evening of Premieres,” an exceptional event for which the Lviv National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra led by conductor Volodymyr Syvokhip and soloists performed: Iwona Hlinka (flute, Poland) and Volodymyr Veretelnyk (marimba, Ukraine) performed works by composers from Japan, Greece, Italy, and the United States.
“Such diversity is a great proof that contemporary music is very multifaceted and everyone can find a sound to their liking,” the Philharmonic noted.
