To the 180th anniversary of the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy
Concert dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the bandura class

To preserve the history and sound of their country, to be its voice, to spread its song – this is the purpose of the concert participants. All of them were united by their years of studying at the bandura class of the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy, as the class turns 70 this year.

The anniversary brings together students, teachers, and alumni who have become famous artists, and invites all those who love the sound of the bandura to the Philharmonic. A bandura is impossible without a song, so the performers prepare several Ukrainian songs: from folklore arrangements to hits of the 80s. The songs of Volodymyr Ivasiuk, Anatolii Kos-Anatolskyi, Ihor Bilozir and others will be accompanied by the bandura.
