With the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion in Ukraine, Lviv became a shelter for many musicians. This allowed the performers not only to continue their concert activities, but also to unite in those ensembles that did not seem possible before. Thus, on April 3, specially for the project “Ukraine-2022. The Muses Are Not Silent” some of the most interesting Ukrainian cellists will be on the same stage united in a quartet to perform a program with well-known works of classical music.

“Ukraine–2022. Muses Are Not Silent” is a series of digital chamber concerts organized by Myroslav Skoryk Lviv National Philharmonic in support of Ukrainian musicians during the russian armed aggression. Online concerts will become a platform for the uniting of the Ukrainian music community, as many musicians participating in these concert programs have become internally displaced people and have found shelter in Lviv.
