Despite all our borders and differences, we are and always will be together – that’s how the word “Kune” is translated from Esperanto) to live and share the same planet.
Music has the extraordinary power to unite cultures and to knock on the hearts of people wherever they come from. In this work by Arnaud Fillion, 50 languages will be presented, interacting to sing our world, peace, the present, love or death, through texts in which everyone will find a way to a harmonious “us”.
Due to its multilingual nature, the creation of this project involves steps towards other cultures. To help with this process, composer Arnaud Fillion created reading recordings for each translation that can be used as phonetic guides for the singers.
The best collectives of the Philharmonic – the Lviv Chamber Choir “Gloria”, the Lviv National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and Serhii Khorovets, conductor – will work out this creative and symbolic task.
