Program

MOZART  –  KLUSÁK  –  LANIUK  – JANÁČEK

The leaves of the four-leaf clover are a symbol for faith, hope, love and happiness.

The Lviv Philharmonic presents a project of international partnership with its long-time friend Simon Camartin. The famous Swiss conductor has chosen a program of four works by four symbolic authors. He said: “When i saw the four names Mozart- Klusak – Laniuk- Janacek and included the selected scores in my considerations,  І immediately had the impression that these names mean pure happiness, hope, love and faith in the good. This for the performers, for the audience, for the world of music and thus also for humanity.

Mozart’s music bubbles and sprays with joy and happiness; the scores of Klusak and Laniuk are credible testimonies of the high value of contemporary music; and Janacek’s masterful “Jenufa” proclaims in perfect form that sadness and tragedy can turn into happiness and hope. Truly – music as a encouraging four-leaf clover in a difficult time”.
