The figure of this extraordinary artist has become legendary for Lviv and its residents. Anatolii Kos-Anatolskyi, a musician and lawyer originally from Kolomyia, has been one of the most prominent figures in the cultural life of the city of Lviv during the nearly 50 years of his activity here. A graduate of the Karol Szymanowski Conservatory and the Law Faculty of Lviv University, a teacher at the Krushelnytska Specialized Boarding School in Lviv, the Lysenko Higher Music Institute, the head of the Lviv branch of the Union of Composers of Ukraine, as well as a polymath, a speaker of 10 European languages, and a man of high honor – all of this is about Kos-Anatolskyi.

In a concert in his memory on the eve of his birthday, the artists of the Lviv Philharmonic invite you to hear works inspired by the beauty of the Carpathian Mountains and full of their melodic sound.
