Program

“Panis Angelicus” from the hymn “Sacris Solemnis” written by one of the Church Fathers, St. Thomas Aquinas, in honor of the Feast of the Holy Eucharist. In 1872, the French composer César Franck created music for the hymn to glorify the light and power of God’s faith. On April 11, Marianna Laba and Olena Matseliukh will perform a program dedicated to the miracle of pure beauty that the composers write in their church-themed works.
